UN Women Gender Snapshot: 2025 Vulnerability Assessment of Syrian Refugees in Lebanon
Image
This UN Women Lebanon Gender Snapshot presents a secondary analysis of the 2025 Vulnerability Assessment of Syrian Refugees (VASyR), examining patterns of vulnerability through a gender and disability lens.
It highlights how structural constraints shape differences in legal status, livelihoods, education, protection, access to services, and coping strategies among Syrian refugee households, with particular attention to women, adolescent girls, female-headed households, and households with persons with disabilities.
The Snapshot is intended to support Lebanon Response Plan 2026 implementation by providing a consolidated gender-focused interpretation of VASyR findings to inform more consistent gender-responsive programming.
