Mental Health: The video is part of a series prepared to support families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and other stressful circumstances, including the Beirut Port Explosion (August 4, 2020). It explains the definition of stress and its physical and psychological consequences and effects. The video was developed in response to the increased prevalence of psychosocial and mental health needs of host and refugee community members post August 4, Beirut explosion. The video provides guidance on how to cope with stress and improve one’s mental health with the adoption of positive coping mechanisms; these include: engaging in activities with loved ones and the practice of relaxation techniques. This video was developed under the UN Women project “We Can Together- Time for Real Change” implemented by CARE International in partnership with ABAAD and funded by the Government of Japan (April 2020- June 2021).
